What is Project Resistance?

Something new you and friends can get your teeth into?

Capcom has teased a new game currently titled Project Resistance, that appears to be set within the Resident Evil franchise.

It looks like the game will centre around teams of up to 4 trying to survive someone’s (yet to be revealed) twisted game. It pits you against some of Resident Evil’s most recognisable characters… Zombies, Lickers & even what looks to be a robotic version of the infamous Mr. X. (Seen in Resident Evil 2, he can’t be killed and is generally just REALLY bad news!)

After the surge in popularity of multiplayer survival games like Dead by Daylight, and the past success of Multiplayer Zombie-based survival games like Call of Duty’s Zombies and Left 4 Dead, it’s safe to say that Project Resistance could prove very popular indeed!

What at first appears to be a random trailer drop turns into something much more exciting, as at the end of the 90 second video our appetites are well and truly wet, with the caption “More details at Tokyo Game Show” popping up. Considering the Tokyo Game Show opens in 2 days’ time, we don’t have long to wait to find out more!
